CHICAGO—The RSES Journal, the magazine of the Refrigeration Service Engineers Society, Des Plaines, Ill., presented DuctSox®, a Dubuque, Iowa-based manufacturer of fabric duct air dispersion products, with its “2008 Readers Choice Award” last January at the 2009 International Air-Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Exposition (2009 AHR Expo®) held in Chicago.
The second annual award was based on a high number of reader inquiry “hits” in a 2008 issue of the RSES Journal by DuctSox’s new Coronado product line. A new member of DuctSox’s Designer Series, the Coronado is a high-style fabric HVAC/R ductwork product line with galvanized, cork, harvest or camo patterns that enhance interior designs in open-architecture ceiling applications for retail, hotel, education and commercial buildings. The Coronado received one of the highest totals of inquiries, according to data collected by a third-party accounting firm.
“The RSES Journal staff truly appreciates the numbers that products like the Coronado have generated because our readers have spoken, which as a writer/editor, is a truly rewarding feeling,” said Lori Kasallis, associate editor, RSES Journal.
